Content Warning: Death, Suicide
I've lost every one, and again when a new name added to the list. They all pulled back, like a gun hammer cocking before sending the bullet off into decisions never undone but always felt. Slow hands clasp as memories slip further away just like their name. Here's one, and another, a friend, and an ex-brother all becoming a grief that comes together to remind me of (all over again) what I lost.
Thank you for reading The Book of Common Words. I’d love to hear from you, your reactions, your thoughts, your pushback. Feel free to leave a comment below.
